HEAR WHAT OUR TRADE MEMBERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT US
At IWA we understand our reputation as a leading insurance backed warranty provider is built on the experience of our customers. Getting honest feedback on how we deliver our service at every level – from our accredited trade professionals to our dedicated claims handling team.
Tony Hepher, Managing Director, Marathon Windows
“We’ve been around for 40 years and been honouring guarantees all that time. Although by law we are now obliged to provide insurance backed guarantees, IWA offer a great product and made the whole process quick and straightforward.
With the regulatory changes, the company has kept us very well informed as a member about compliance and about general news within the industry.
We feel we can trust IWA completely. I was recommended to them by a friend and I find them nice, honest and really helpful to deal with. Arranging insurance can be a hassle but they have made it less stressful.
Becoming a member of IWA was also very efficient. They were good and it was easy and painless.
They’ve always been very helpful and supportive whenever we’ve had any issues. Although to be honest we haven’t really had any.
When it comes to winning new business, being an IWA member benefits us because they mirror our guarantees exactly; something which other companies don’t offer. We sell our products and service based on their high quality. Backing them with insurance that’s also top-notch certainly helps our sales.”
Charles Robertson, Owner of Radley Aylesbury Ltd
“At Radley Aylesbury we’ve been selling quality windows, doors and conservatories since 1996.
In the present economic climate people are rightly concerned about what sort of companies they are dealing with and the warranties that are available. Our typical customer is the more mature professional, who is particularly risk averse.
Our customers are naturally looking for a peace of mind and we realised from the very start that the best way of doing this was to offer an independent warranty to cover the Radley guarantee. That’s why we got involved with IWA: it gives customers reassurance and helps consolidate the final sale.
Over the years we’ve built up a high level of trust with the company, which I feel certain works both ways. They know we are selling a very good product and we know they are offering a very good package and the two go hand in hand.
In terms of administration it is very easy: our sales team goes through the paperwork with the customer to consolidate the sale before the admin department sends off the relevant paperwork to register the warranty.
We’ve found IWA very easy to deal with. All phone calls are answered promptly, paperwork has been returned on time and really there haven’t been any issues at all.
On completion of the contract and installation the customer is invited to give feedback on how we performed. It is an independent verification of our quality and standard of work. We are pleased to say that last year we achieved a 99% customer satisfaction rating, which we have proudly promoted in our showroom.
We have a great relationship with IWA and we can see this moving forward as an integral part of our business for point of sale and peace of mind for our customers.”
Tim Long, Sherborne Windows Ltd
“We generally don’t like to talk about what could happen if we should go out of business, that’s a negative. However, because it has become a mandatory requirement, it’s positive that we can say that we’ve sought the very best insurance. Should we go under, our customers are provided with complete cover. There are no exceptions; a lot of the time other insurers only cover certain items. IWA provide full cover, without any excess or exclusions. If the worse happened, they would sort it out – they wouldn’t say ‘oh we don’t cover that part’.
Ultimately IWA helps us achieve more business. They enable us to set us apart from the competitor who has sourced the cheapest insurance that doesn’t cover the paper it’s written on. As a company we provide the best service and product, so working with IWA goes hand in hand to provide the best for the customer. They help to give customers peace of mind – I know that’s what they say on all their literature, but it’s true.
During the 14-15 years we’ve been dealing with IWA they’ve always kept us very well abreast of any changes or news. The company is always good at helping us drive in the right direction when using their products and they’re always very polite and helpful. If the person I’m speaking to can’t answer my question then they find someone who can.
We also like that they have taken the paper trail away. We just email them on a weekly basis and they send out all the information to the customers. It certainly makes our accounts ladies’ lives a lot easier.
Overall, we’ve no reason not to trust IWA. They’ve been around for many years. We had an experience once where they’ve had to deal with a claim where another company went bust. We then got involved in a couple of jobs putting it right. They made sure the work was done and dusted and the end customer didn’t pay a penny more – even though the job that we did probably would have cost them a lot more.”
